Hello and Welcome to Agapé!
My name is Carrie Scharett, Chili Clinic Director, and I will be one of the physical therapists working with you. I would like to take the time to introduce myself to you so that you may learn a little bit more about me and feel more comfortable during your time here at Agapé.
I graduated from Daemen College in May 2008 with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy. During my time at Daemen, I developed a strong relationship with the faculty became a teaching assistant and tutor for a number of courses in the professional phase of the DPT program. This experience helped me learn a lot about myself and helped fulfill my strong desire to teach and help others. Agapé was the first and only place I interviewed with when I began my career search. I think that speaks for itself, as I immediately saw how Agapé would be a good fit for me to learn and grow as a new physical therapist. Since I began working here in November 2008, I have made a commitment to myself and this organization to truly give you the most efficient and beneficial treatment programs that I can. This is exemplified by the number of continuing education courses I have taken that specifically focus on the spine and extremities.
I enjoy spending most of my free time with friends and family. I have eight children in my family and that has helped mold me into the person I am today. Most people would describe me as a positive, energetic, honest, and trustworthy friend that they can confide in. I hope you will see me in this respect as well.
I look forward to being a part of your rehabilitation process and thank you for choosing Agapé Physical Therapy.
Professionally,
Carrie L. Scharett, PT, DPT
