Cathy Leonard PT, MPA is the owner of Upstate Physical Therapy.   She graduated from SUNY Upstate Medical University and worked at the University of Rochester Medical Center for 16 years where she was the Director of the Physical Therapy department in the last 6 years.  She then opened Upstate Physical Therapy and gradually grew the business to the present staffing.  In addition to her physical therapy degree, she also has a master’s degree in health care administration, as well as many continuing education courses related to physical therapy.  Cathy serves on the MVP Medical Advisory Committee, is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Physical Therapy Alliance of Upstate NY.  She has done extensive clinical instruction for physical therapy students as well as lecturing at the Ithaca College Physical Therapy program.
