Physical Therapy Professionals, PC
Physical Therapy Professionals, P.C. is your choice for comprehensive personal evaluations and treatments for individual therapy needs. Established in1994, we are an independent physical therapy practice committed to providing the highest quality of care available today. We utilize the latest techniques and technology to allow for a more complete and efficient rehabilitation and recovery.
Our staff is dedicated to restoring physical and functional mobility, as well as relieving pain and preventing disability. We evaluate and treat injuries that occur in all settings, including auto, home, industry, and sports.
In1994, Andy and Dawn Mattle co-founded Physical Therapy Professionals, PC in Lakeville, NY to fill a much-needed void in quality and convenient outpatient rehab services in and around Livingston and southern Monroe counties. The practice has expanded four times. First, with our unique affiliation with the Livingston County Department of Health that began in 1996, then the addition of two other satellite locations, Caledonia in 1998, and Mt. Morris in 2001. And most recently, in 2005, with the construction of a state of the art facility at the north end of Conesus Lake, featuring the area's only Aquatic Physical Therapy program. Our strength has and continues to be our patient centered care that directs our individualized examinations and treatment focus. We strive to provide the optimal environment for healing and provide evidence based treatment solutions in order to reach one of the highest patient satisfaction outcomes in the Rochester area. Functional and successful outcomes are a trademark that ranks high with patients and physicians alike. Each rehab program is unique and tailor-made as each patient presents and progresses through their recovery. We have had thousands of success stories with upper extremity rehabilitation involving the shoulder, elbow, wrist, and hand. We are committed to continuing with the highest quality and delivery of Physical Therapy care available today. Andy and Dawn continue to live, with their family, in Livingston County, where they were both born, raised and attended high school. It is with great pride that they provide exceptional health care to their friends, neighbors, and acquaintances. They play roles in many community and school functions and are benefactors for numerous local charities and organizations.

Specialties
Physical Therapy encompasses the use of various diagnostic and treatment activities. The first visit will include a review of the patient's history, as well as the physician referral, and follow with a comprehensive evaluation and explanation of the treatment plan outline and goals. The Physical Therapist will determine what treatment procedures, exercises and/or modalities are needed during each session. We use traditional modalities such as heat, ice, electrical stimulation, and ultrasound. Our programs may also include stretching, massage, mobilization/manipulation, and advanced strengthening, closed/open chain and plyometric exercises. Thorough patient education regarding proper home exercise programs and/or postural and body mechanics prophylaxis along with joint protection principles are always included. You can be sure that our staff and programs far exceed any typical hospital-based rehabilitation. We deliver the highest quality of care with prudent use of resources and appropriate ratios of support personnel to professional staff to ensure that we meet or exceed the highest professional, ethical and legal standards. Our approach allows for the highest quality, most individualized care in rehabilitation today.
